Catch me if you can!

Baking cookies for Daddy!

18 Months!

With every month that passes I grow more aware of how quickly they grow up and how fast the time has gone by. It seems as if every morning my little baby girl grows more into a toddler! She continues to amaze Hector and I every single day with the things that she can do or the words that she can say. Just last night we watched her get a new cd, walk to the cd player, open the cd player, take the old cd out, put the new cd in, close it, and press play... we both just looked at one another and wondered if she's supposed to be able to do that.

Her current best friend is Bailey. When we leave in the morning she tells him bye and as soon as we get home she goes to his door and tells him hi. She takes him toys, looks under the bed for him, plays hide and seek with him, and even yells at him! It is so cute to watch... I'm just hoping that she loves her little brother just as much!

This past week her shoe addiction has blossomed a little more. She constantly has to have some pair of shoes on whether it be her new snowman slippers or her white sandals. What I mean by constantly is that she even sleeps in them! She's always saying "shoe, shoe!"

It seems as if her vocabulary is growing by the day as well. We can start working on a word in the morning and by that night she has it down. Here's some fairly new words... moo, woof, meow, tootsies, sock, shoes, nose, eyes, gracias, adios, si, amen, night night. I know that there's so many more but that's all I can think of first thing in the morning!

Since my belly is growing by the day right along with Izzy I thought it would be good to point out there's a baby in there. Little did I know that to an 18 month old that would translate to there is a baby in her tummy too. She pulls up my shirt point to my belly button and says "Hi Baby" and then does the same to herself. OOPS!

Our hearts are so full of love and she has brought us so many blessings... we can't wait to have that with our little boy as well!
