The Louisburg Cider Mill

we went headed to the louisburg cider mill for cider fest this weekend. isabel went down the huge slide, we enjoyed kettle corn; turkey drumsticks, cider donuts, rootbeer, and fresh apple cider. such a good time.

The Royal's Game

We finally got to take the kids to a Royal's game. We spent all of our time walking around and playing in the kid area... Isabel and Jaxon played miniature golf for the first time. Needless to say we made it about an hour before we headed home.

Date Night

Hector and I were witnesses at a wedding and headed to the Plaza for dinner afterwards. We went to Fogo de Chao for the first time and it was delicioso! It's a Brazilian steakhouse with all you can eat meats... they even come around to your table with gigantic skewers of meat for you to choose.

Olivia's Birthday Party at Build a Bear

Isabel had her first trip to Build A Bear for Olivia's birthday... it was so much fun! I convinced her to trade in the ugly black cat she wanted in exchange for an Ariel outfit for her bear. She had a great time choosing an outfit and getting her bear dressed. Definitely a fun place for a birthday party.

Another Deanna Rose

I thought that this was adorable...

Orange Leaf

Isabel had to have skittles
Choose your bowl
yummy!

I had heard some colleagues discussing Orange Leaf frozen yogurt and we decided to check it out. They have about 15 different frozen yogurt flavors and then a topping bar! I love it but Hector wasn't as fond of the experience. It was a perfect ending to an afternoon at Deanna Rose.

Deanna Rose Farmstead

they weren't even afraid of the calves
hmm, what do these do?
put me on a horse, i'm ready to go
Jax the dairy farmer
we could be farmers

We absolutely love visiting Deanna Rose! On this trip Jax got on the saddle, they got to pet the calves, and they bottle fed the goats! Jaxon was hilarious with the goats, I'm not sure what he was doing but he would go up behind them and push them.

Isabel's first day of preschool

She was twirling her earring
I think that she was a little nervous

It seems as if it were just yesterday that I was dropping her off at Celia's for the first time... she had her "Baby Whisperer" schedule, her "Sleep Sounds in Jesus" cd, and a headband bow. She was completely unphased when I left her at Herndon, she was so happy to be in school! She actually got sick her first week of school and cried because she had to stay home with momma and couldn't go to school. She has learned so many things in her first couple of months of school... she talks about her shadow, sings new songs, and wore her macaroni necklace for days.
