Bluegrass Jamboree

Isabel began her dance lessons at Cathy's Creative Dance in September 2009. She absolutely loves to shake her booty and I know she's enjoyed the past year of classes. She had her first official recital in June and she did fabulous!

Powell Gardens

We have never been to Powell Gardens and decided to get a 1-year membership this year. It is such a beautiful place to visit and a vast amount of space for kids to be free and explore. The gardens are gorgeous and there's even fountains for the kids to play in. We've only been a couple of times, but both trips have been great. On our first visit Isabel was able to paint a flower pot with her NaNa and even pick out a plant to take home.

It's time to break out the pool!

We have all kinds of new outdoor toys this summer... a slip-n-slide, sand and water table, basketball goal, baseball, and the John Deere Gator. We're steadily growing out of our house and now our garage as well.

Just a little bit of chocolate...

Jax is growing into such a little boy... there's so many things that he can do which totally amaze me. Not only is he adventurous, but I have to say he's awfully handsome as well. He has these amazing, gigantic brown eyes and eyelashes that reach to his eyebrows. Ah, he melts my heart.

Isabel's THIRD Birthday!

Our sweet, little girl is THREE... of course, I can't believe it. With each passing day she continues to amaze me with all that she can do and that little personality she continues to grow into. She is a source of constant laughter, pride, and a little it of craziness. We love you Isabel.

2010 trip to the Deanna Rose Farmstead

We chose a gorgeous day in the spring for our first trip to Deanna Rose this year. They have done so many renovations in the past year, it was great! We were able to go through a one room school house, watch a cow getting milked, walk through a tepee, race some mini tractors, and see all kinds of farm animals. The kids loved it!

The Lawn Mower

Unlike his sister, Isabel, Jaxon is fascinated by the lawn mower. A matter of fact, he's pretty much fascinated by all things that are boyish... tools, lawn mowers, motorized vehicles, you name it! Here he is trying to imitate his favorite dude, dad.
