Our Labor and Delivery Nurses

violet had THE MOST AMAZING labor and delivery nurses... Pam and Melissa. we checked into the hospital at 5:30 am on 10.10.11 and they became our nurses at 7. pam and melissa were with us throughout the entire labor and delivery process. they offered encouraging words, excellent drugs, and loving pats. we had pam and melissa until 7 pm on violet's birthday and were so very fortunate to have them again all of the next day.

Violet's Coming Home Day

on 10.12.11 we packed our littlest lopez into her car seat and headed home. it's surreal to be placing our third child into the same car seat and same vehicle as our first baby lopez, how in the world do we have three children! we are so BLESSED to have THREE healthy, beautiful children and we know that it is all through the grace of God. thank you Lord for this newest blessing to our family.

Our Last Family of Four Outing

the lopez family dynamics are about to change once more and we are so excited to meet our newest little one. for our last day as a family of four we headed to the zoo and boy was i exhausted by the time we left! it was a beautiful day and the kids had a great time... we even got to do the hayride!

Farm Day

today was Isabel's very first spirit day at school... it was dress like a farmer day! we're definitely going to have to do better next time, especially considering our roots.

Isabel's First Day of School

Sitting in her seat
Greeting her teacher Mrs. Lindsey at the door
I'm ready mom!
Walking in the front doors

isabel started her very first day of pre-k at new trails in ray town. it is so hard to believe that this time next year she will be in kindergarten... where have the past four years gone? on her very first day of school she helped another little girl come into class by speaking in spanish to her, it was adorable. by thursday she was telling me different sets of rhyming families and asking me questions about the pictures in her book. it was AMAZING!

Johnson Farms

we had our first trip to the pumpkin patch this fall at johnson farms. if you haven't been to this pumpkin patch, you have to go for a visit! we had yummy turkey legs, delicious corn on the cob, rode the ponies, saw the newborn piglets, and most importantly explored the patch for the perfect calabasas! jax loved riding in the wheelbarrow while isabel helped daddy search for unusual pumpkins. i do think we need to visit one more patch this fall when it's cooler.
