the day after

isabel had to wear her cinderella dress ALL day long... it was awfully cute. this is the 2 of them playing in the kitchen. they were baking cookies and isabel was actually sharing.

our little sleeping beauty... hector thought this was jax!

all week i had been telling isabel that she was going to get a surprise... new cinderella dress, limo ride, and disney on ice. i laid out her dress beside her while she napped so it would be the first thing she saw. unfortunately i had to wake her up from her nap and she was less than excited to see the dress. but, she finally let me put it on and we waited for the limo.

i videoed her walking down the steps and had thoughts of when she would be walking out on her first date or to her first dance. it was a little emotional. she was really worried that i wasn't going to go with her and i had to keep assuring her that i was coming along.

once we arrived we got our picture taken, saw the princess show, and bought $20 worth of popcorn and snow cone. we had amazing seats and finally sat down to enjoy the show.

i am so glad that we did a FOTZ membership, it was well worth the price. hector was off for 2 of my spring break days and this day was gorgeous. when we first got there we stopped to look at the progress they're making on the polar bear exhibit. i looked away from isabel for a second and she was gone. my heart started racing and i began to panic... i frantically asked hector if he knew where she was. this is where we found her...

what can i say about our little man? now that he's completely mobile he is into everything and is everywhere... the baby gate upstairs finally had to go back up. such a doll.

tonight we went to texas roadhouse to celebrate my nana's 66th birthday! my momma, daddy, and were there along with nana and papa and aunt jackie, uncle mark, and cousin cheyenne. we had so much fun especially when nana got in the saddle... and she almost fell over! of course my mama is having trouble with her memory card again and half of the pictures are gone alone with the video of nana in the saddle:-(

tomorrow is day 2 of spring break... we're headed to storytime at the library, PAT visit in the evening, and then i get to try out the dragonfly gymnastics class! if i stay with the class and follow directions i get to join the class and leave the parent tot class behind!

SpRiNg BrEaK

spring break has officially begun! last night jax and i stopped by the great-grandparents house to have a visit with great grandpa and great aunt karen... great grandma is in sunny san diego. this afternoon we went to jacob's birthday party and isabel is spending the night with nana. jax and i headed up to the legends to have a late lunch with daddy and then look at bedroom furniture at nebraska furniture mart. lastly, we headed to oak park mall and got isabel a cinderella dress for her trip to disney on ice! and that was only the first day of the break... whew.
