Weekend Fun...

Daddy is working all weekend so that he can take off for my birthday weekend! So, it's just mom and I... oh, and Bailey! I love playing with my dog Bailey and I think that he likes me more than he used to.

BBQ at Mike and Kristina's New Home...

Isabel and i went to Mike and Kristina's new house for a bbq Saturday night. Daddy wasn't with us and boy were mommy's hands full... thank goodness she had friends to help! Mommy fed me first and then got her a plate for herself. But I wasn't done... I stole a chip off of mommy's plate! I also got to meet Hudson for the first time... boy was he a looker!

I love Tub Time!

Isabel has always loved taking a bath. She always been a splasher but she's mastered her talent... she had even had me wet! She's absolutely hilarious to watch in the tub.

Playing in the Yard

Isabel was able to play in the backyard during our spurt of good weather. She was a little unsure of walking in the grass but she got the hang of it! She was amazed by the beautiful dandelion and had to carry it with her!

One Month To Go...

I've said it a thousand times over the course of this past year... I simply cannot believe how fast the year has gone and how much she has changed. We've been so excited planning Isabel's birthday party... the colors, the food, the cake, the presents, the outfit!! I was so caught up in the excitement of the planning that for a while I forgot about the sadness that comes along with this milestone. And then, out of the blue, it hit me. My baby isn't such a baby anymore. My baby is turning ONE! What happened? Where has the time gone? How many of her precious moments have I missed while at work?
There are days where I just feel overwhelmed by the love I feel for this person I've only known a year. There are days when I just want to cry when I see her... cry because she's so precious. Cry because I simply couldn't imagine the love I would feel for this little lady. Thank you God for this amazing blessing!!!
This past month has been full of changes and accomplishments for Isabel. The biggest accomplishment being that she is officially a walker! She is so adorable to watch. But, now that she's a walker she is even less content to be in the stroller or the car seat... she constantly wants to be going. Isabel has also started giving hugs... this is my favorite! I know that there are a dozen other "new" things she can do, but these are the most exciting!
