Time to lower the crib

Jax and I are at home today since he's feeling under the weather. I laid him down for a nap and this is what I found...

Princess Isabel

We have a new obsession at our house and that is Disney Princesses! Our current fave is Ariel. We wear our Ariel nightgown and panties all day long. After dance class we ran to Sam's Club and discovered a kit of princess shoes and a tiara... every up and coming princesses dream!

Of course we had to put on a pair of slippers and the tiara before leaving Sam's. Our little princess was sitting on a box of diapers in her dance outfit, tiara, and princess slippers. and the very best part... she was waving at people!!

Izzy's first night of dance class

We had just gotten to Cathy's Creative Dance and the place was packed. Luckily we have 2 other friends that are in Izzy's dance class.

On our way there I couldn't help but get a little emotional over the experience. Hector and I have been talking about taking Izzy to dance class since she was itty bitty and here we were taking her to the first night of class. Wasn't it just yesterday that she was sitting in her infant seat with her oversized headband bow? Now here she is in her leotard, tights, and ballet slippers... another one of those priceless mommy moments.

Isabel decided to decorate our garage door with flowers... isn't her design beautiful. Even funnier is when she got out of the car a few days later and asked "What happened?" after noticing that her flowers had disappeared.

Is it time to go Bye-Bye?

Izzy loves to go places now. She's constantly asking "We go bye-bye now?" We were getting ready to go outside and she insisted on completing her ensemble. She even did a little pose with no prompting.

It's Dinner Time...

Ah, dinnertime! I'm discovering why it's so hard for mom's to sit down and eat. Isabel is even trying to sit on the bench to eat rather than in her booster... I'm not ready for that!

The Big Man

One day Jax was folding himself in half when trying to sit up and the next day he was a pro... look at this guy!

I really can't believe how big he's getting and how fast it's happening.

Playdate with Ash

Our friends Richard and Bree and had a busy night so we watched their daughter Ash.

She and Isabel are only 4 months apart and they both go to Celia... Isabel is constantly talking about Ash.

The girls ran around the house, enjoyed some delicious pizza, took a bath together, put on their Disney nightgowns, and lastly took a ride on the motorcycle. What a night.

And Mr. Jax hung out with the ladies!

SiX mOnThS!!

Our little guy continues to turn into a little man right before our eyes. It seems as if he has accomplished something new virtually every day. We finally gave up on using the BUMBO seat for feedings and have moved into the high chair... Jax looks so little in that big chair!
