kaelin and i in the country store

today momma and i had a girl's day at the farm with kaelin and her mommy. it was really cold out so jax stayed in the warm with nana. we drove up past lathrop, missouri to shatto farms. we've been drinking shatto milk for the past several months and mommy was so excited when she found out we could go on a tour. we've been talking about seeing the cows all week long. we started our tour by hearing all about shatto farms and how they produce their milk. did you know that the former president bush even tried their chocolate milk? after hearing about how they bottle the milk we got to sample all of their different flavors... delish! my favorite was the banana and mommy's favorite was the root beer. after the tasting it was off to see how the cow's are milked. i got a little scared at this point and refused to pet the root beer cow pat. after watching the cows be milked it was off to see the calves and try to milk a cow. i wasn't as scared of Flower the calf and i even touched her. it was such a fun visit to the farm even if it was 37 degrees!

Our arrival at the Cider Mill
Last weekend mommy and NaNa took us to the Louisburg Cider Mill. They were having a craft festival and the place was packed! They make homemade apple cider and we even got to the see the machine that makes it. At the cider mill they also had a pumpkin patch and corn maze... but we're waiting to go with daddy!

A Mini-Me?

Hector is constantly telling me how much Isabel acts like me. Her mannerisms, the way she speaks, her looks, and her occasional attitude. She loves to put on my shoes, perfume, lotion, and lip gloss. And in the case wanted to look at her J. Crew catalog as well.
With all of this said I know that I don't even hold a candle to her daddy... he'll always have her heart.

Laundry Fun

Did you know that laundry hampers are really supposed to be use as a way to hide from your brother?

Daddy's New Toy

Daddy's always telling mommy that she spends way too much shopping, which I would have to agree with! So, when Daddy said he wanted a 4-wheeler mommy encouraged him to buy it. You see, our daddy works so hard and never has a chance to just relax and enjoy himself. He needs to be able to have some fun! Our new 4-wheeler is really neat and we know Daddy is loving it.

Whew... what a month!

I have to tell you that this month has been exhausting for me... so many things have changed in my life. I started the month only being able to lunge myself forward and I ended the month being a speed crawler. I can't even tell you how great it is to go after everything I want on the floor. I go from room to room scavenging for things to chew on. Life is good. Oh, and did I mention that I don't have to lie down all day? That's right, I can sit up without folding myself flat. again, life is good.
Hmmm, what other good thing have been happening for me? Did I already tell you that I have my 2 front bottom teeth. For some reason momma doesn't like them much when she's feeding me. I eat all kinds of fruits and veggies with every meal and then some milk for a tasty dessert!
By the end of the day I'm just exhausted from all of my travels. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not too tired to wake up at 1 and 4 to eat! What can I say, I'm a growing guy!

Shaving Cream

Ever since mom went back to school she's been hounding me to "learn" some new stuff. I guess that she got a little freaked out by the kindergartner who responded with " That number is 'a' " or something along those lines. Ever since that mom has been going over colors, numbers, and shapes with me. She even makes me listen to Dr. Jean in the van before I can watch a movie. On this particular night we got out the shaving cream and I worked on writing... can't you tell?

Already driving

Daddy put me in my very own car and I even drove. For some reason Daddy kept laughing though and when mommy saw my picture she said that I need a car of my own. It was something about how tough guys wear pink but they don't drive pink cars! I'm not sure what all of that means but I sure had fun driving my car. I'm hoping that my big sister continues to share with me, she can be kind of stingy sometimes, or maybe I'll get a car for Christmas. That's another thing I don't know anything about... people keep saying "Maybe for Christmas." Hmmm, maybe I'll find out soon what all of the hype is about.

Soccer for Daddy

Daddy and some of his friends were able to go to the International soccer game at Arrowhead Stadium. Daddy even got to sit in box seats and have catered food. When he got home he looked a little funny though... he had red hair! Daddy can get kind of silly when he's able to relax.
