Jax's Christmas Musical

jaxon also had his first performance this week with all of the other Little Angels. he looked like such a little man and did an excellent job singing "silent night." such a handsome little man.

The Gals' Christmas Recital

isabel and violet had their first performance of the year and they were presh. both of our lil' gals did an amazing job and were so proud of them.

Grinch Party

isabel had her very first christmas party sleepover and she wanted a grinch theme. we had a great time decorating the table and planning fun stuff of her and her friends. they feasted on pizza and grinch juice, decorated ornaments, made necklaces, and watched "The Grinch." On Saturday we loaded up all 9 kiddos and headed to Whoville to meet the Grinch. I think that it was a success because i was exhausted!

Christmas Trip to Branson

we spent the first weekend in december in branson for our 2nd annual christmas trip. this year we shared a condo with mom and my sister's family. we had a rocky start and got caught in a snowstorm about an hour and a half outside of branson. we were able to make it 5 minutes from the condo before we got stuck on a snowy hill. it was around midnight and we were totally stranded… isabel was having a meltdown so we said a prayer. my mom prayed that God would send angels to pull us up that hill. within 5 minutes 2 blazers pulled up next to us, with ropes, and pulled us up that hill! AMAZING.

our first day was spent snowed in and watching the beautiful snow fall. we ate yummy food, made snow play dough, and watched christmas movies. perfection.

on saturday we were able to get out and had some fun at an indoor play place. but, the best part came saturday night on the polar express… so much fun!

Violet's first Watch Night

we were able to watch violet dance for the very first time and she was adorable! she loves to shake her booty and is always asking " is it monday?" " do i have dance class?"

More Thanksgiving Shenanigans!

we spent a relaxing thanksgiving day with my mom's family and then relaxed at home that evening, perfect day.
we checked out the luminary walk at the overland park arboretum for the first time and it was beautiful despite the chilly temps. i think that we have started a new thanksgiving tradition.
