* His new favorite toy is the dishwasher. That's right, the dishwasher. He likes to climb in, sit on the door and take a look .

* He is extremely observant and likes to watch the dog. This week he was down on all fours taking a drink of water... straight from the dog bowl!! Water was even dripping down his face.

Isabel...

*Gymnastics teacher: I am so sorry. I thought that her name was Isabel and that we could call her Izzy.

Me: Well, her name is Isabel

Teacher: She told me that her name was Ariel!

* You all know how much she enjoys to dance. She has now taken her dancing to an entirely different level. She likes to dance in front of the window after her bath and while she is still completely naked!

isabel has been doing gymnastics for the past 2 months at the GAGE center in blue springs and she loves it!! my prediction is that she will be the next hispanic olympic gymnast... i'm not a proud momma or anything! each evening they begin with their stretching exercises and then they work through a series of courses. they do cart wheels, somersaults, hang on the bars, walk on the beam, jump on the trampoline, do handstands, swing into the foam pit, etc. i'm amazed each week at how much she can do!

we went to the zoo with my friend janea and her niece addisyn. it was definitely a little different being outnumbered by kids... the lopez family will have an adjustment we're a family of 5! this was also the first trip out with the wagon and it was great with a few little kinks... isabel took her juice box straw and was blowing in jaxon's ear, there was a never point when all 3 kids wanted to ride, and isaebl kept stepping on jaxon's feet. whew, what a day!

we had a perfect easter with family. our morning began with a visit from the easter bunny... he brought us a radio flyer wagon with all of the bells and whistles. we went to church, had lunch at nana and papas, and then we headed to the ferbezar's for an easter egg hunt. it's hards to believe that last year was jax's first easter!

after gymboree jax and i headed out for a lunch date! we shared a delicious stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and green beans at houhilan's... we even got to sit on the patio. afterwards my guy and i headed to town center for some shopping. i have to admit, whenever i take him out all of the ladies stop and talk to him. such a ladies man!

what am i supposed to do on here?

jax has been going to gymboree for the past month or so. two of my colleagues have kiddos the same age, they're all 3 within 1 month of each other. maybe one of these days we can get a picture. while at gymboree they focus on a variety of age-appropriate activities for fine motor and gross motor skills... but, jax would just assume play with the balls!

this is our second year with a FOTZ pass and it is so worth it... this year we can even ride the carousel, train, and tram free of charge. i'm thinking of lots of trips to the zoo this summer.
