the first day of kindergarten

meet the teacher night

we were able to meet mrs. fries this evening and isabel got to drop off her school supplies... so exciting!

as we were leaving and i was about to take the gazillionth picture of isabel, she says " when i'm a mom, i'm just going to take 1 picture of my kids and be done!" already, criticizing my parenting, geesh!!

twas the night before kindergarten...

we celebrated the night before kindergarten with some fabulous books, the night before school poem, and a little bit of back to school fairy dust.

as i was reading "the kissing hand" to my kindergarten girl i had to choke back the tears, such an emotional evening. i found this lovely idea, on pinterest of course, to read a back to school poem and give your child a bag "back to school fairy dust" to ease their jitters and help them sleep. with the help of her magical dust isabel was sound asleep within minutes.

another item checked off the list! i had so much fun with my little lady today, she is a totally different person when she's away from jax. we went to waldo pizza for the all you can eat pizza buffet... she ate salad, 5 pieces of pizza, ad n3 pieces of dessert pizza. unbelievable.
