It seems as if it were just yesterday that I was coming home from Chicago to tell Hector we were expecting... it has definitely flown by. I had a doctors appointment today and everything is looking and sounding to be right on track. Isabel's mouth opened in shock when she heard the heartbeat! I had been feeling some pains that came much late with Isabel and was slightly concerned that this meant an early arrival for my boy... but, Dr. Pearman assured me that they are because I'm carrying him much lower that Isabel. So, in a short 8 weeks there will be another Mr. Lopez in the house.
Also, Hector and I are planning on doing on a time capsule get together for our son... we're thinking a Saturday in early February. That means get your letters and memorabilia ready for him!

The joy of choosing a name...
I can't help but laugh when thinking about choosing a name for our son... it has been so tedious. Everyone always has an opinion on the name you have chosen and no one seems to be shy about sharing it with you. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely don't mind... it can just be amusing at times. Choosing a name for your child is such a tremendous undertaking. After all, this is the name that they are going to answer to all of their lives. There are so many aspects to take into consideration. For some reason it was so easy to choose Isabel's name, we had no problems at all. My personal belief is that should ultimately be my decision... I'm the one who has carried him for 40 weeks, the one who threw up virtually everyday, the one who is steadily growing fatter and fatter, I'm the one who pees my pants when I laugh or cough, and not to be forgotten the one who will go through excruciating labor! Why in the world would I not get the final say? Let us not forget that he will be carrying on the Lopez name... not Harness. What more does my husband want? According to our poll results Alejandro was the clear winner... but, I'm sticking with Jaxon!
