something has happened to my memory card and it's holding 30 pics from jax's party captive. hopefully i'll figure it out!

disney live

grandma and grandpa harness took us all to see disney live, it was o much fun! we got to see minnie and mickey, donald and goofy, buzz lightyear, the guy from toy story, and our fave CINDERELLA! izzy got a princess horse and jax got a handy manny tool set. afterwards we enjoyed some bbq at the rib crib.

we were able to go to susan and todd's to watch the super bowl game and have fun with our little blue friends. momma played a game of ping pong with donovan, daddy and daniel played a game of pool, jax crawled under the ping pong table, and i played with ash. fun times!

kaelin came over to my house today and we had so much fun! we dressed up like princesses, rode our cars. and refused to let jax play with us. 

bibs are for babies

my momma finally quit trying to put a bib on me... it took her forever to get the hint that i wasn't going to wear one. everytime she would try and put one on i'd rip it off. i'm a big man after all, i don't need a bib. i'd rather get my clothes covered in food and have to takes baths after a meal.

on this particular night momma decided to take some pics. like a good little man when she said "cheese" i squinted my eyes and smiled a super large smile. i couldn't have her thinking that she was in charge though, so when she tried to video it i refused to cooperate.

we got this chair for jax several months ago and he can finally get into it. he looks like such a little man when he climbs in there. he especially likes it when daddy spins him.

i took a total of 3 pictures in chicago and there were all at my favorite restaurant, le colonial. i've been to chicago in the winter before but forgot how darn cold it is. i'm hoping i can talk my husband into letting me go back this summer... hmm.

momma and i had a special date and went to the movies! we got popcorn, soda, and chocolate... momma said it completed the movie experience. i made it through the first hour of the movie before going 2 year old. thank goodness we sat in the top aisle and i could run to the end and back!

every night jax and i get in what i like to call the "tubtub." most nights i take all the toys and maybe let him play with one, if i don't like it of course. however, on this night i was feeling the love of my brother. at least for as long as it took daddy to take this picture.

January Snow

Momma had this thing called a "snow week" and she didn't have to go to school at all... Jax and I had fun staying home with momma and I even got to play in the snow with dad. Mom did mention that our pool time would be shortened though since she'll be in school until August:-(

Has it already been a year?

I first have to say that I've become a terrible mother over the course of a few months... I hardly every update the blog and I'm always forgetting to take pictures. How is it that Isabel has virtually ever moment of her first year captured in a photo and poor Jaxon hardly has any? Is this the life of the second child... what happens to the third and fourth? Do you totally give up baby books and monthly photos by then?

Our Mr. Handsome has been a part of our lives for a year. His kind spirit and soulful brown eyes have melted my heart time and time again. At ONE he can: wave bye, say bye-bye, momma, poppa, blow kisses, walk, climb steps, feed Bailey his food from the high chair, and play peek a boo.
