mommy was really emotional all day and kept talking about all of the sacrifices that were made in order for her earn this degree. she said that she had to give up so many precious moments with us and that daddy had to work even harder... it was the first degree that she had to stand on the shoulders of others in order to be successful.
mommy also had a conversation with me about how i have the ability to do anything i set my mind to and that when things get rough, i have to persevere. of course, i had to ask what "ability" and "persevere" meant.
we're all glad that mommy is done!
