Shatto Farms

this weekend the lopez five made a journey to osborne, mo to tour shatto farms. we absolutely love shatto root beer milk at our house! isabel and mommy had gone on a tour when jax was a baby and we decided that it was time for another trip.

while we were there we got to visit the calves and jax got to milk a cow! we also got to see how they milk the cows and how the milk is piped directly from the cows to a cooling tank. next, we were able to do a little milk tasting in the shatto store... delish! our let stop on the tour was watching how the milks bottled.

the highlight of the tour was of course sampling the different milk and trying their oatmeal raisin with sea salt and caramel ice cream sammich... yum!
