it's here, it's here!!!

i know that everyone probably thinks that i'm totally obsessed with our disney world vacation... well, i am! working on my specialist degree for the past 2 years (and 3 summers) has meant many hours missed with my family and one stressed out mommy. i know that i haven't been the kind of wife and mom that i'm meant to be, and to me this trip is my way of saying thank you to those four people that i love most. i've literally spent almost 365 days planning every detail of this trip so that we can make some seriously unforgettable family memories. so, don't judge my obsessiveness... its my way of saying thank you. so, after booking this vacation at more than 365 days out you can only imagine how beyond ecstatic i was when this arrived in the mail today.

i could barely make it inside before i ripped open the envelope and pulled out our luggage tags. jax was right next to me and desperately wanted to scoop him up and share what had just arrived, but i didn't. i've found that the closer we get to our departure date the harder it is for me to keep a secret... especially when they keep talking about how they want to go to disney world. since i can't do a disney countdown with the kids, i'm going to blog about it. each day, starting tomorrow, i'm going to share one disney moment. it might be something i'm packing for the trip, a dining reservation, a piece of my 6 page spreadsheet, or something that i'm doing with the littles. stay tuned folks... the 30 day countdown begins tomorrow!!
