Disney World... We've Arrived, Day 1!

i'm not sure what it is with me, but vacations illicit such excitement and anticipation within me. i love the planning, the packing, the arrival, and definitely the start of all the fun! as a child growing up my father would take me on an amazing vacation every summer, maybe that's where it all began. coincidentally, one year he totally surprised me with where we were going... i remember getting to the airport and discovering that we were on our way to orlando, but i had no idea what was in orlando!!

once we arrived at the orlando airport we hopped aboard the magical express and headed to disney world!! ah, such excitement. when we checked in we were fortunate enough to find that our rooms were ready. we grabbed a bite to eat the contempt cafe inside at our resort and then enjoyed some time at the pool.

our first stop of the evening was the grand floridian, an absolutely gorgeous disney world resort... one day (when daddy is making tons of $$$ at his restaurant) we will stay here. we checked in for our dinner with cinderella, prince charming, and the evil step-sisters and then went searching for hidden mickey's throughout the lobby. so much fun.

after dinner, we hopped aboard the monorail and headed to the magic kingdom in the pouring rain! it was still fabulous.
