4th of July... Puerto Vallarta Style!

our little family has now spent 3 of our 7 4th of July's out of town, much to nana's chagrin. but, as hector and our little fam were celebrating independence day in a different locale we realized that we had begun creating our own little family tradition. as a married couple and as the parent's of 3 mini's we've slowly tried to create traditions that our little people will remember; traditions that they might start with their families one day or at least give them the foundation to create new traditions. that's what starting your own family is about, right?

so, the leader of our fam and i have chosen to make 4th of July week our family vacation week. and let me tell you, i love having this new tradition but i especially love knowing that there is a particular date each year where i get to explore a place with my mini's and make new memories! here's to new traditions and to Disney World 2014... here we come Polynesian!

We spent this 4th of july relaxing in the sun and finished it off with a beachside show. I have to give a disclaimer here... I think that I might have actually fixed my hair once or twice on vacation and independence day was not one of those days!

the mini's loved building sandcastles with their daddy and looking for seashells. beach location on 4th of july=perfect!
