Children's Mercy

poor jax woke us up in the middle of the night with a horrible seal cough and labored breathing. after a breathing treatment and sitting in the bathroom we decided that we needed to head to children's mercy. they gave him another breathing treatment there along with an oral steroid but he still had strider and they decided it would be best to admit him... unfortunately they had no rooms available at south and they transported him via ambulance downtown. my poor little dude was screaming for me as they strapped him to the gurney and it took all of my mommy strength to not burst into tears. luckily, he did great at the downtown hospital and he was released by mid afternoon. croup is no bueno!!
