Easter 2013

i had so many great ideas for the perfect easter breakfast for the littles. but, after an entire saturday of cookin' and craftin' for the big day i was plum tuckered out!

i did have a fab time creating a table for the kid's... thank you pinterest for all of the fab ideas. i hope that i helped make some great easter memories for the littles!

this is the only picture that i was able to snap of all 3 before isabel poured raspberry lemonade all over her dress.

it was so lovely outside. perfect weather to paint some flower pots and plant some flowers. both of my children were less than thrilled to stick their hands in the dirt, i wonder where they got that?

we ended an almost perfect easter with an egg hunt... we sure missed daddy.

disney on ice

the easter bunny brought the mini's an early easter treat... tickets to disney on ice! i had a sad moment when isabel didn't want to wear one of her princess dresses. it reminded me that the magic only lasts so long for them and that one day soon she might not be enamored with the princesses, sigh. on the positive side i do still have another mini who is that the prime age for princess adoration.

Easter Eggs

the littles had an action packed saturday... "meet the croods" with daddy, easter egg dying, and then a birthday party at a gymnastics place. what a perfect way to spend a saturday. i have to thank my fabulous hubs for hanging out all day with the littles while i worked on easter dinner. there's no way that i would have gotten it all done without him!

Easter Craftin'

we've been busy at the lopez house with all of our creative juices! if you would have told me 5 years ago that i would one day swoon over diy projects and crafting i would have laughed.

as i was driving into work this past week i took some time to really think about what i love doing the most and if there was any way that i could make that love my career. as i listened to my praise music and tried to listen to the whispers in my head (thank you Jodie) it became very clear to me... i get the most fulfillment from creating special memories for my little's. it could be as simple as decorating the house for the holidays, creating celebrations, or planning magical vacations! i'm working on figuring out how i can share that magic with other mom's.

 Who knew there were so many thing sot be done with peeps!

TOP O' THE MORNING BREAKFAST

this morning we had a fabulous st. patrick's day feast. the little's snacked on rainbow pancakes, green yogurt, colorful milk, and tasty fruit. it was the perfect way to start the day!
