Building the Leprechaun Trap

isabel had the best assignment this past week, building a leprechaun trap. i knew as soon as i saw the assignment that this was definitely a project for daddy. i made sure to remind him that his necessities were things that sparkled and glittered... he even used a michael's coupon. so proud.

isabel and daddy got to work wednesday night and began their work. look at what a fabulous job they did. isabel even wrote about how her trap would catch a leprechaun.

the big bummer is that isabel was able to take her trap to school on thursday, but then left sick. poor thing has been home with strep throat ever since. and, i'm almost certain she'll be home sick again tomorrow. so disappointing for her.
